Mod'Art Hungary Graduation
I attended the Mod'Art Fashion Show which was a presentation of the fashion designer graduates' works. Mod’Art is an exclusive French private school based on fashion and design.
Students attend 3 years in Budapest and in the 4th year they can either opt for the Mod'Art International Diploma or go for one more year in French. The parent school is located in Paris and other 12 schools - including that of Budapest - are spread in Europe, Asia and the USA.
The 9 graduates presented their 'capsule collections' in line with the latest French trend expectations. All the collections contained 5 silhouettes. We could see amazing and surprising designer ideas on high level of art and creativity. All the clothes were perfectly designed and I am super proud of all the Hungarian graduates' original ideas.
I would like to show you my absolute favourites and mention all the names of these young talents.
REKA MESICS womenswear
It's all about slow fashion. Accurate handmade details on first quality materials inspired by youth humour and games.
Awesome unisex design with furnishing. The secret is in the careful designing, tailoring and matching providing pleasant attire for both genders.
WHY NOT menswear
My absolute favourite. Rigid pieces with gentle details, it's classic and modern at the same time.
After fast food and fast fashion here comes "fast art" definition. On the basis of fine arts she created a collection for both the connoisseur audience and the consumers who don't look behind the meaning of these artistic pieces.
